Industrial Action on Tuesday 5th July

Dear Parent/Carers,

Industrial Action

As you may be aware, the NUT teaching union will be taking national industrial action on Tuesday 5^th July 2016.

The action (a one day strike) will result in class or whole school closures in some parts of the country.

The decision to close the school to some pupils is never taken lightly, but in this instance, where staff have elected to take lawful industrial action, I will have no choice but to take appropriate steps to ensure the health, safety and well being of all pupils.

I thought it would be helpful to let you know as early as possible that we may not be able to admit your child on that day and I would therefore encourage you to make contingency arrangements for alternative care, should this be needed.

Y6 – Trafalgar Class

Nursery

Y2 – Morris Class

Y4 – Hardy Class

Y4 – Triumph Class

Breakfast and After School Clubs will run normally on Tuesday 5th July.
