Merton Abbey’s Garden Party.
Merton Abbey’s staff and children enjoyed a beautiful afternoon, basking in the sunshine and eating delicious treats on Friday 17th May, to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The children danced, sang, played fun games, and had their faces painted. The Mayor of Merton came to visit and planted a beautiful apple tree, donated by Friends of Merton Abbey School (FOMAS), to mark this wonderful occasion. All of the children had a lovely time. On behalf of the staff at Merton Abbey, I would like to thank all of the wonderful donations parents/carers handed in and I would like to thank the parents and staff that helped on the day too.
