World Book Day at Merton Abbey

Children and staff have enjoyed celebrating World Book Day at Merton Abbey today.  There have been fun lessons about children's stories in every class.  The day started with a special Drop Everything and Read assembly.  Children (and staff) enjoyed dressing up as characters from well known stories and showing off their costumes to the rest of the school.
