  • Take Part Tuesday

    Tue 19 Apr 2016
Our second Take Part Tuesday was another success and we would like to thank all the parents who came to join in.  It was great to see parents getting involved with the children's learning at school.

In Reception and Nursery parents and carers are being invited into the classroom to see how their children are learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage.  This gives parents an opportunity to see how we teach and to get involved with their child’s learning.

The children get very excited when their parents come in to see how much they are learning in school.  Look out for your invite!

  • Merton Abbey Success at 2016 Challenge run!

    Thu 14 Apr 2016

On Thursday 14th April 2016, 20 children from Y5 and Y6 excitedly headed to Raynes Park playing field to participate in the 2016 Merton Challenge run. The children were required to race against children from 33 other Merton primary schools and had to complete two laps in the circuit. This totalled 1500 metres! All of the children accepted the challenge and completed the race, which was an incredible achievement. Many congratulations to Reece in Y6, who finished 2nd in the boys' Y6 race out of 140 boys! We are all very proud of your achievement Reece. Many thanks to Mr Knox and Mrs Patton for taking the children.
