  • Littlehampton Educational Visit

    Wed 12 Jul 2017
This week year 1 have had a great time visiting the seaside at Littlehampton. The children enjoyed digging and making sandcastles as well as splashing in the sea. It was warmer in the sea than on the beach! Children also searched in the rock pools for sea life and plants but, sadly, didn't find any crabs. Everyone had an ice cream at the end of the day which was delicious! Some of the children said that it was the best day of their lives!
  • Wick Court 2017

    Wed 12 Jul 2017
Last week children from years 5 and 6 arrived back from a weeks stay at Wick Court, a working farm in Gloucestershire. Throughout the week they looked after the farm animals by feeding them, mucking out, cleaning and washing them. Collecting eggs from the hens and picking fruit were some other activities they had to do. And as if this was not enough work the children also had to tidy their rooms, cook dinner, wash up and clean the dining hall after they had eaten! However, the children also had time to relax by playing games, reading books and walking in the local countryside. As you can see from the photos the children had an amazing time, with some saying it's the highlight of their year!
  • Triumph class perform at the Polka Theatre

    Thu 06 Jul 2017
On Wednesday, Triumph class gave an outstanding performance of 'Mollie of the Midfield,' at the Polka Theatre. They have been working alongside specialists from the theatre to develop and enhance their acting skills and they have shown what a talented class they are. The play was about resilience, adversity, life changes and football and was part of a festival being held by the Polka Theatre. Mr Oglesby was immensely proud of the whole class, who performed in front of an audience of over 200 people! Well done, Triumph Class!
